BARBOS LOOK TO TOP A COMPETITIVE DENVER 7S LINEUP

Your Denver Barbarians 7s will look to continue their winning ways into the first Frontier qualifying tournament of the summer, the legendary Denver 7s.

This tournament, decorated in history dating back to the 1970’s, has traditionally been the zenith of men’s club 7s competition in the Western US. This year the men in Green & White will face tough competition in the form of the Kansas City Reds, the Kansas City Blues, Vail Rugby, the Aspen Gentlemen, the Omaha Goats and a newly formed team Rugby Expo (full pools below).

The Barbos will bring some size, strength and experience from both of their teams. The top side returns veterans like Alex Wormer, Ian Wormer, Luke Neely, Jack Miller and Campbell Johnstone. Barbo 7s rookies Julian DeRaffele and Taku Musingwini will look to make their mark in their first Barbo 7s appearance.

The second side will be captained by Barbo veteran Steve Karas, with rookies Vinny Sikorsky and Kai Arye hoping to push the gain-line with each hard carry.
