BARBOS KICK OFF SUMMER 7S WITH COMMUNITY GATHERING

Do you like rugby 7’s?

Do you love the crisp dew of an early summer morning?

Do you enjoy a donut or two after an early morning training?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, Saturday is the day for you. The Denver Barbarians 7’s squad will train early Saturday morning followed by a community gathering at our player clubhouse. The full details of Saturday’s events are below.

WHO: Denver Barbarians 7’s players, coaching staff and ALL BARBO COMMUNITY MEMBERS

WHEN: Saturday, May 30th - Team training (9am-11am) - Community Gathering (11am - 1pm)

WHERE: Prospect Park (team training 9-11am) - The Barbo Player Clubhouse 11301 W 44th Ave (Community Gathering 11-1pm)

WHY: Players gotta practice, and old boys gotta eat donuts.

There are multiple reasons why this has been a great outing in summers past. On the players side of things, this summer’s player group only just met (training began on Monday). It’s important to not only invest time in the team and the growth of our rugby acumen, but also to invest in each others’ lives away from rugby. A team that loves one another will play harder for their brothers.

In addition to molding meaningful player bonds, the entire extended Barbo community loves and misses 7s! It’s not just the players who want to get back in the groove of the summer, the fans do to!

We’ll have the final leg of the SVNS series streaming from the clubhouse for fans (new and old) to come watch some 7’s and mingle with the Barbo players. Food and drink will be provided by the club, and we encourage anyone and everyone who bleeds green to stop by and say hi. Family, kids, S/O’s are all welcome.

The Clubhouse has come a long way since its first paint job (Green & White, duh) in June 2021!
