BARBOS FALL SHORT TO PARK CITY HAGGIS

The Barbos fell short to Park City for the 2nd time in 3 weeks, collapsing in the 2nd half and blowing a 14 point halftime lead. Credit goes to Park City who continued to battle through multiple yellow cards and rode their momentum to complete the impressive comeback. After scoring 4 first half tries, the men in Green & White simply couldn’t turn the corner in the 2nd half. Park City rode their momentum until the final whistle where they scored in the corner to make the final score 31-28.

The Barbo tries came through the hands of Jason “Tubbs” Christensen, Harold Hernandez, Brian Rice and Alex Wormer. But it was Kenny Scott and Coleson Warner who steered the Utah ship in the 2nd half and mounted the impressive comeback. Considering Park City was playing their 2nd game in 2 days, their second half performance showed their clubs heart and tenacity, finishing out their road trip with 2 wins.

The Barbos will have to take a close look inward as they now face another massive test with an away game against Boulder RFC. Who will rise to the occasion? Who will step up with the season’s results hanging in the balance? There is a potent opportunity for young players to step up and make their mark at a time when the team needs to right the ship and grab back the reigns of the fall season.
